January, Hopeful month!
First day of the year, was spent at the office, with a GY shift! Still suffering from sore muscles, after a 3 day adventure in Mt. Tabayoc, Benguet Province.
All hopes for the year a head...
February, mangoes and churches!
Iloilo, with friend and fellow traveller and mountaineer, a tour around the city and the GUIMARAS Island. Visited two sites in one day, how amazing that every corner of the town has a church. Highlights, visited trappist, where the male monks reside.
March
anticipated coming of Ex.
April, a bliss in summer...
Ex is finally here! after 6 months of waiting! Busy.. busy...
Puerto Gallera..
Subic, a long weekend that was spend with food, booze and sunset. Highlights!, We were lost in the middle of the night at Olongapo circling for more than an hour, looking for a place, since all hotel rooms where fully booked! Zoobic night safari, which was a pretty scary drive. I promised I shall not do it again, in subic.
Ex and I’s first climb with the Boondockers! Yikes! A good friend of mine got engaged at Mt. Daguldol! Happy for you my dear friend!
Oh my! dreary May!
The dreaded May, there was not a day that didn’t go by that I felt nervous, agitated and more confused every single day!
June The sentenced.
This month was a huge step for me, a world different from my own. I was now part of Ex as he is of me. I never thought in my wildest dream that I would be. I always thought I would be a care free lad, and be part of the singledom. Yet, I found my Mr. BIG, no complications no nothing. Simply Us. Truly I am inlove.
July, A month apart.
A lot harder, than I thought. The whirl wind is now gone, and reality has came back. I am now alone, but officially I have a ring on my finger.
August, take it or leave it!
A true test to my mountaineering adventures. Been climbing for half a decade, but not as frequent as it used to be. Mt. Isarog has tested my limits, I have never anticipated such weather nor the scary sound of the wind, it was dry and humid at the ground, but wet and heavy rain pours down on the mountain, as they It has its own weather. Each sway of the leaves an anticipation of creepy crawling leech might catch a parcel of your skin, and suck the blood out.
Wake Boarding at Cam Sur was part of our itinerary, sadly, I was tortured by my knees and aching muscles but that didn’t stop me the try. Tried three times and couldn’t even finish! Went down the third time, all upper body sore!
September, Wet me up!
Boracay!!! I was so excited! I had heard and read all those raves on how they spent their boracay vacation, though to me it looked like one of those vacations I took. The scenic views and the wonderful beach were spectacular. Yet, since it became a popular destination, the place looked very chaotic There were too many shops, to many vendors haggling as you walk, and its a lil’ bit scary when your all alone eating in a cafe.
Best ever! I get to scuba, all by myself! Swim with the fish, sit on the sand while the DM a few meters away from me. I was neither assisted nor he held s as I swam. It was one of the best experience I had. I was able to control my breathing, as they say, relaxed mind, relaxed breathing! Looking forward for my next scuba experience! Bravo! Bravo! I finally conquered one of my fears!
October! Aged!
I feel old, yet I spent it with a BLISS!!
November, Cold and WET!
Mt. Pulag, 2nd time same trail, shouldn’t I be taking the Akiki-Amba trail? I thought I am going to take Wonderful Pictures! So I brought all my Camera gear! It was a terrible climb, cold and the weather steps at 10 degrees celcius it was a brr..... No nice pictures were taken! geeze!
December, Cheers to all the FREAKY PARTIES!!!
It was a Cheers toe all those Freaky Parties! Drinking all night long! one wat to end the year! With a Blast!!!
